Hippotherapy

I thought I would post a few photos of Molly riding her horse at therapy.

This kind of therapy has been really good for Molly, and is still (fortunately!) mostly covered by our insurance.

Molly loves riding backwards!

Molly always comes away from riding much more grounded and verbal. She's made great progress with lots of sensory issues, and is (SLOWLY) learning to tolerate holding a pencil (sometimes!). It's a long process.

Molly is a beautiful, happy, 6 year old girl. She was diagnosed at 2 years old with moderate to severe autism.

Since then she has made so much progress, we are amazed. None of it was easy. Every bit of it was an immense struggle. We struggle for every bit of connection we have with her, we have had to painstakingly teach her things that typical children learn without trying. We love Molly so much, and can't imagine our lives without her. But we want her to be better.


There are so many therapies available to her that we believe will help her that are just not within our means.

So we are asking for help.
